The Trump Record

What this is

Things Donald Trump posted or said, word for word. Each entry is confirmed by at least two independent sources, and spoken quotes are checked against the broadcast audio. Every entry links to the original.

What it isn't

It doesn't check whether what he said is true. It is incomplete by design: when anything is uncertain about the wording or who said it, the entry is left out.

    How entries are verified

    SourcePublished only if
TweetsAt least two independently collected archives hold the same status ID with the same words, no archive has different words, and the timestamp encoded in the ID matches the date.
Truth SocialAt least two of: a Truth Social scrape (CNN), the American Presidency Project's daily record, and Factba.se hold the same post ID with the same words.
SpeechesWhisper, run on the C-SPAN broadcast audio, matches a published transcript word for word, every word is heard clearly, and C-SPAN's captions contain no conflicting word.
AllHis own words only: no reposts, no pasted posts or quotes from others, no pasted headlines, no link-only posts, no fragments.

"Same words" ignores punctuation, spacing, links, and hashtags or @mentions that a collector dropped. One changed, added or missing word is enough to hold a post back.
